Finger Alert (110 degree opening)

Finger Alert is a transparent strip that covers the gap between the door and doorjamb and prevents fingers and little feet from entering into these openings. It also covers the hinge side of the door where baby and toddler fingers are still small enough to fit into the gap.

• The protection strips are transparent and therefore suitable for any colour interior.
• Available in 1.8 m lengths only. (An example of 1.2 m can be seen in the photograph which we no longer stock for the following reason below - )
• The 1.8m strips cover more or less the complete length of any door and would prevent adults and older children from placing fingers inside these gaps.
• Maximum thickness of the door to be no more than 5 cm.
• A door with this Finger Alert can open up to 110 degrees. We recommend the use of a door stopper screwed into the floor to prevent the door opening any further than 110 degrees.
• Attached by strong adhesive tape for ease of installation
• Nails or screws should be used every 30 cm.
• Approximate installion time per Finger Alert strip is 4 minutes
